Why LOCAL Learner Drivers

Chose Kelvin White Driving School.

Phillipa Bartlett, Taunton

Summer Varley, Exeter.

“I chose Kelvin White Driving School as I wanted quality teaching. I also wanted a local school who were professional.

My learning experience was better than I had expected. I really liked that you could express what you wanted to work on rather than being told. My driving instructor Mike Harwood had great teaching methods. Mike was very calm and understanding. He was very clear when explaining things and was friendly, yet professional.

I cannot express how great Mike was. I always felt comfortable and safe and he gave great guidance and teaching methods. He made my experience of learning to drive enjoyable and easy.

I was 100% happy and will recommend to others due to my experience and the good office support I received.”

Philippa Bartlett, Taunton.

“I decided to go with Kelvin White Driving School after hearing only good things as I was not getting on with my current instructor.

Dave Peter gave me the confidence and skills that I needed to pass my test. I was very anxious but Dave always put me at ease and assured me that I could do it!

I couldn’t have passed without Dave’s tuition and I will be forever grateful to him and Kelvin White Driving school.”

Debbie Kwong, Taunton

Michelle Chick, Bridgwater.

“I chose Kelvin White Driving School because of their high first time pass rate. I had also read their positive customer reviews.

I found learning to drive to be easier than I had expected due to my anxiety around unfamiliar people.

My driving instructor Steve Gwinnell had teaching methods that were easy to understand. If I struggled with parts Steve would either explain in more detail or demonstrate.

I will be recommending to others because of the encouragement and support I received throughout. Customer service was absolutely brilliant, both with support and encouragement.”

More Information

Kelvin White Driving School have been established in Somerset since 2001.

Kelvin White was the sole instructor back then and it was during 2007 that new driving instructors joined the team to become a true driving school. The school grew quickly over the next two years to over 30 driving instructors and expanded from the headquarters in Bridgwater to cover the towns of Taunton, Ilminster, Wellington, Tiverton, Minehead and Exeter.

The driving school is now one of the premier suppliers of male, female, manual and auto learner lessons throughout the county of Somerset. Refresher and familiarisation lessons are also available.

Customers will benefit from local family values with Kelvin White – school owner, Sandra White and Andy White – customer services and Lee White – head of the instructor training program.

The School mission statement can be found by using this link and it will also be sent to all new customers with the booking confirmation letter.

The tremendous success rate of the school has been mainly down to the extremely popular Try Us and See Deal that has been running since 2007. New pupils are able to quite literally able to Try and See their allocated instructor with a huge discount to see if they gel together as forming a rapport is so important to the success of the tuition.

The company are so confident in the both the service and tuition that they offer that a money back guarantee is in place should the pupil not be delighted with either the service of tuition received.

Local customer reviews also play a huge part in attracting a regular supply of new customers. In recent years we have become a customer review society and most of us now read several reviews before making a purchase.

Visitors to this website will find that each town or area will have its own web page so that visitors will be able to access the information that is relevant to them on a local level.

Visitors are able to select the area that is closest to them and read the local information.

Each area page will display the latest Try and See Offer and money back guarantee details. Visitors will also be able to view the “Meet The Team” page to view the individual driving instructors that conduct driving lessons in that particular town or City and check out what they look like, their tuition vehicle and perhaps more importantly, what previous customers have to say about their tuition.

Kelvin White Driving School offer “success Based Lessons”, so what exactly does that mean? It means that each driving lesson is constructed to both build confidence as well as learning new skills or building on existing skills. The school conducts client centred lessons, which involves pupil interaction as to what will be covered on each session and how and why it fits in to the learning syllabus.

Each lesson will commence with an interactive discussion to establish the subject to be covered. It’s important that pupils completely understand what the objective of each lesson is and what they are looking to achieve during the session. A successful lesson is one that can be measured from the setting of the objective to the closing summary to ascertain what has been learnt and how that knowledge and skill will take the learner closer to their goal of successfully passing their driving test and keeping them safe on Britain’s roads.

Visitors to this website will also find information on, what is a driving school, what makes a good driving lesson, what defines a driving instructor, how to gauge quality driving lessons, driving with parents, tips on how to choose your driving instructor and the 8 success steps guide to a 1st time pass.

Other useful articles can be found on; how to apply for your 1st provisional licence, booking your theory test and information on your practical driving test.

Please explore our website and read what we have to offer. Should you come to the conclusion that we would be your best option to prepare you for your driving test, then simply call our customer services number from the relevant area page and Andy and Sandra will be delighted to listen to your requirements, check current availability and match you with one of our local instructors.

Thank you for your visit and good luck with your driving experience.
