“Mike was an excellent driving instructor. On a personal level, he was always patient and encouraging, and maintained a relaxed atmosphere in the car. In his teaching methods, I appreciated the flexibility of the teaching structure and the constant effort to tailor lessons to me.

I also found Mike’s method of agreeing on the level of input before exercises (from talking me through them to asking questions or letting me attempt them independently) helped me.

Where I did need more support, this was always given with clear explanations, guidance and prompting. Throughout, the lessons had a diverse range of exercises and routes that kept things interesting.
